First Lady Desetra Taylor

First Lady Desetra Taylor is Blessed! Blessed with the favor of God, with anointed wisdom, and with a special gift to touch the lives of women in the Gospel.

Sister Taylor came to know the Lord at a young age, led by the example of her parents. Being raised in a Christian household, there was never a doubt that Desetra would one day play a vital role in ministry. While attending Illinois State University, she actively participated in the New Hope Campus Outreach Ministry. From the onset, she worked diligently in ministry by serving as a member of the choir, a leader in the Women With a Purpose group, and the President of the Membership Committee.

As First Lady of Center For Hope Ministries, this woman of God has been a role model, not only for women in general, but for Pastor's wives as well. In ministry, she stands beside her husband of 25 years, Bishop Larry Taylor and together they teach holiness and how to maintain a balance: naturally and spiritually. They have concentrated their efforts on building "Kingdom Marriages, which would resemble God's purpose for the union of man and woman. From this, the ministry "The Two Shall Become One" was birthed. Sister Taylor serves as a teacher, counselor and speaker. Also, she plays a vital role within the music ministry.

Sister Taylor received her Bachelors of Art degree in Business from Illinois State University in 1984. Her corporate work history consists of 18 years of insurance experience. She currently works as a Business Analyst with State Farm Insurance. She has received various accreditations that have equipped her to perform her work duties with perfection.
